EDUC 481 - Elementary and Middle Level Teaching Internship

This Teaching Internship experience is required for all Elementary and Middle School Education and Teaching majors. Teacher Interns will spend 13 weeks across elementary (PK-6) and middle level (6-8) school settings, assuming the responsibilities of a classroom teacher. Under the direction of a Mentor Teacher and University Supervisor, the Teacher Intern will design and teach engaging lessons, assess student learning, and reflect on their continued professional growth.

Prerequisite(s): ELEM 420, ELEM 440, and ELEM 460, all with a grade of C+ or higher, and admission to Teacher Candidacy
