ELEM 460 - Elementary Clinical Experience and Seminar 3 credits This 75-hour clinical experience and corresponding seminar is designed for Teacher Candidates to engage in authentic, PK-6 elementary classroom settings and to plan, teach, and assess small and whole group lessons based on best practices in the core content areas. Faculty model and scaffold instructional practices as they coach, observe, and mentor Teacher Candidates throughout the semester. Successful completion of this course is required in order to enroll in the Teaching Internship.
Prerequisite(s): ELEM 360 and ELEM 380 , both with a grade of C+ or higher, and admission to Teacher Candidacy Corequisite(s): ELEM 420 and ELEM 440
