ELEM 480 - Elementary Teaching Internship

This Teaching Internship experience is required for all Elementary Education and Teaching majors seeking initial licensure to teach elementary school (grades PK-6). Teaching Interns will spend 13 weeks in an elementary school setting, assuming the responsibilities of a classroom teacher. Under the direction of a Mentor Teacher and University Supervisor, Teaching Interns will design and teach engaging lessons, assess student learning, and reflect on their continued professional growth.

Prerequisite(s): ELEM 420, ELEM 440, and ELEM 460, all with a C+ or higher, and admission to Teacher Candidacy
