Music Minor

The Minor in music is a program that requires the successful completion of 20 credits in music. Those credits are earned in theoretical studies, history and literature, applied study, and in music ensembles. MUSC 115 and MUSC 116 must be taken prior to or during the first year of applied study.

Minor Requirements (20 credits)
(If applied area is piano, substitute 2 elective credits for this requirement. If student demonstrates intermediate-level keyboard skills, substitute 2 elective credits for this requirement.)
Music electives (6-8 credits)
