THEA 414 - Movement II 3 credits This course is a continued exploration of the physical and vocal skills required for effective stage performance. Emphasis is placed on the development of the actor’s instrument though the study of dance, period movement, storytelling, and a variety of devised projects. This course is a culmination of voice, speech and movement training and will conclude a devised performance for an audience. Classes are a combination of lecture, demonstration, and experiential exercises. Content of the course will be directed toward the specific needs of the actors.
