SOCL 306 - Stress and Crisis in Families 3 credits Normative and traumatic stresses and crises that families and their members experience, including birth of a child, divorce, violence, death, natural disasters, and war time family separations are examined. Family stress theory, protective factors, coping strategies, prevention and intervention are addressed as well.
