NURS 461 - Contemporary Issues in Nursing

This RN to BSN course examines issues and trends of professional nursing practice today. Historical, political, societal and theoretical influences and future trends in nursing will be explored.  Legal, ethical and cultural dimensions of nursing will be discussed in the context of an ever changing, highly complex healthcare system.
