3 credits Crosslisted With: (HIST 314) A survey of the political landscape of African history. A major portion of the course examines the significance of precolonial kingdoms, assesses the growth of the “slave trade”, analyzes African intellectual history, and explores the “eve of colonialism” in Africa.
