3 credits This course introduces students to major authors from a variety of world cultures (exclusive of British and American literature) from 1650 to the present, such as Juana Inés de la Cruz, Molière, Proust, Goethe, Emecheta, Murakami, Rushdie, Roy, and Coetzee.
