ECED 492 - Internship in Early Childhood Education and Final Portfolio 12 credits The internship is a culminating 14-week application-based experience. Students will be placed in two settings for 7 weeks each, one setting will be public and one setting will be private. In each placement, the student will apply learning from previous coursework. The internship experience is designed to meet students’ future work goals and will be tailored to student requests. In each placement, a cooperating teacher or community mentor as well as a university supervisor will serve as facilitators to help ensure student success.
