SPED 225 - Evidence-Based Pedagogy


3 credits
This course is designed to introduce students to the principles and practices of evidence-based instruction within the field of special education. Students will explore various instructional strategies and learn how to apply these methods in diverse educational settings in ways that promote student engagement and success. Emphasis will be placed on critically evaluating and implementing research-supported techniques to enhance teaching and learning outcomes for students with diverse needs. Through a combination of theoretical insights and practical applications, students will gain the skills necessary to design and deliver high-quality instruction that is both evidence-based and pedagogically sound.
