SPED 445 - Formal Assessment of Exceptional Learners

This course is designed to teach students about the assessment process in special education by addressing procedural safeguards, data collection, formal procedures, issues in assessment, psychometric properties of standardized tests, and administration, scoring, and interpretation of selected instruments. The role of assessment in eligibility and the IEP process will also be discussed. Course fee: $30.
