PHYS 114 - Physics for the Teaching Professional

A survey of basic physics principles such as mechanics, heat, electricity, magnetism, and light taught from a conceptual perspective for students seeking K-8 teaching licensure. Scientific reasoning will be emphasized guided by the Virginia Standards of Learning. 2 lecture hours, and 2 lab hours. Course fee: $30.
