THEA 415 - Media Performance and Production

This 3-credit course serves as the capstone for the COMM/THEA interdisciplinary minor. The purpose of this course is to explore professional performance standards and practices in broadcast. Students will develop advanced skills in writing radio and television anchor copy and commercial script. Students will also produce, direct, perform and edit simulated television commercials and a short dramatic scene.

Prerequisite(s): THEA 240, THEA 320 and COMM 343 (with grades of “C” or better).
Corequisite(s): None.
