KINS 488 - Exercise Intervention in Health and Disease 3 credits This course examines the impact of exercise on the disease process, focusing primarily on cardiovascular disease (CV) and diabetes, and to a lesser extent on pulmonary disease and osteoporosis. Emphasis is placed on a review of epidemiological research and exercise/diet intervention studies.
