The BS in Special Education degree program prepares students seeking initial teaching licensure in Special Education, General Curriculum K-12. Students participate in a variety of coursework paired with authentic field experiences to tie theory to practice. Students will also build content knowledge through coursework in English, Math, Natural Science, and Social Studies, along with building their capacity for citizen leadership through the Civitae Core Curriculum.
Please note: The licensure status of this program is pending Virginia Department of Educaiton approval.
