Minor Requirements (18 credits)

Students interested in pursuing a Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) minor should contact the undergraduate program coordinator of the CSD program.

Minor Requirements (18 credits)

The CSD minor requires a total of 18 credits. All students minoring in CSD will take the following courses:

CSDS 285 - Language Development Across the Life Span 3 credits
CSDS 307 - Phonetics 3 credits
CSDS 313 - Anatomy and Physiology of Speech and Hearing Mechanisms 3 credits

CSD minor with an emphasis in speech language pathology

In addition to CSDS 285, CSDS 307, and CSDS 313, students with an interest in speech language pathology will take the following courses:

CSDS 201 - Communication Disorders in Society and Media 3 credits
CSDS 315 - Speech Sound Disorders 3 credits
CSDS 316 - Language Disorders Across the Lifespan 3 credits

CSD minor with an emphasis in audiology

In addition to CSDS 285, CSDS 307, and CSDS 313, students with an interest in audiology will take the following courses:

CSDS 361 - Introduction to Audiology and Hearing Science 3 credits
CSDS 370 - Introduction to Aural (Re)Habilitation 3 credits
CSDS 450 - Speech Science 3 credits
