This degree program prepares students seeking initial teaching licensure in Elementary Education (PK-6), who are also interested in preparing for an additional Middle School (6-8) endorsement in an identified concentration (English, Math, Natural Science, or Social Science). Elementary and Middle School Education and Teaching students participate in a variety of place-based and authentic field experiences, explore disciplinary and interdisciplinary courses in the Liberal Arts, engage in equity-driven teacher preparation, and expand their identities as citizen leaders throughout the Civitae Core curriculum.
