MUSC 404 - Percussion Ensemble

Study and performance of a unique body of percussion ensemble and steel pan literature in a variety of styles each semester. Percussion ensemble/Lancer Steel is open to all non-music major and music major/minor percussionists without audition, though prior experience in an ensemble is required. Elements of note reading, rhythm reading, instrument technique, and percussion literature will be explored in a rehearsal context leading to public performances. May be repeated for credit.
