THEA 363 - Business of Design and Technology

This course for Design & Technology candidates is an exploration of the business and legal aspects of careers in design and technology, including contracts, taxes, record-keeping, resumes, portfolios, interviewing, job hunting, and legal considerations. Special attention will be paid to the assembly of a professional portfolio, which is the centerpiece of any technician’s or designers’ work. The use of computers/ technology as a resource and tool are emphasized.
