SPED 581 - Collaboration and Transition Planning 3 credits This course is designed to explore techniques for including exceptional learners in the general education classroom. Emphasis is placed on collaborative consultation with appropriate persons in the school, home, and community. This course will also include an in-depth study of preparatory skills for vocational opportunities for exceptional learners in the general curriculum. An overview of social, leisure, and recreational opportunities and assistive technology for exceptional learners in the general curriculum.
