3 credits An examination of alternative warfare (e.g. insurgency, guerilla, urban warfare, and terrorism) from a social psychological perspective. Topics to be covered include motivations, recruitment, tactics, media use, prevention programs and counter efforts.
Prerequisite(s): PSYC 101 (with a grade of “C-” or better) or permission of instructor. Corequisite(s): None.
