EASC 211 - Environmental Geology 4 credits This course explores the relationship between humans and their geologic environment, focusing primarily on the processes that act upon the surface of the planet and those relevant to current environmental issues. Students apply geologic principles to the effects of humans on their physical environment. Topics to be covered include: earth materials and structure, geomorphology, plate tectonics, geologic hazards, and resources. 3 lecture hours. 2 lab hours.
