KINS 316 - Essentials of Strength and Conditioning 3 credits. This course addresses the selection and implementation of strength, power, speed, agility, endurance, and hypertrophy training methods, focusing primarily on periodization programs. Components include discussions of physiological principles and strength assessment as they relate to resistance training.
Prerequisite(s): KINS 218 and Admission to the Kinesiology or Athletic Training program, or permission of the instructor. Corequisite(s): None.
