ART 324 - Papermaking 3 credits. The art of papermaking employs a set of techniques, materials and equipment that vary from one culture to the next. This course introduces all students to the basic techniques, but will explore western and non-western approaches in any given semester. Focus will be on sheet forming, casting, and creating sculptural paper designs emphasizing a variety of materials via processes. (Course can be repeated for up to six credits.)
