SPED 405 - Behavior Management 2

This advanced course builds upon foundational knowledge and focuses on equipping students with comprehensive techniques for effectively managing behavior in educational settings. Students will gain in-depth insights into various behavior management strategies and interventions that can be utilized to support positive behavior and address challenging behaviors in the classroom. The course covers the theoretical underpinnings of behavior management, including reinforcement, punishment, and behavior shaping, and provides practical applications for implementing these strategies effectively. Emphasis will be placed on the principles and practices of behavior modification and applied behavior analysis (ABA) specifically tailored for educators.
