HIST 344 - The History and Biology of Reproductive Health 3 credits Crosslisted With: (BIOL 344) This course is designed to teach students about the history and biology of reproductive health. Students will explore the history of reproductive health in the United States during the twentieth century. They will also explore the anatomy and function of the reproductive system(s). Topics covered in this course include: menstruation, contraception, sterilization, eugenics, pregnancy, childbirth, post-partum, breastfeeding/feeding, fertility problems and solutions, and endometriosis.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of the FSRC and FHCI Pillars Corequisite(s): None
