CTZN 311 - Exploring Stewardship Issues in Yellowstone: Aesthetic Expression Perspectives


3 credits
This course engages students in the critical analysis of a contemporary issue relevant to democratic citizenship and the application of knowledge and skills related to aesthetic expression. Through an immersion learning experience in Yellowstone National Park and associated work both pre- and post-travel, students will develop skills for active citizenship, including inquiry from multiple viewpoints, critical evaluation of information, and writing for a general audience. Students may take only one of the following courses:  CTZN 307, CTZN 308, CTZN 309, CTZN 310, CTZN 311.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of FAES, FHCI, FHBS, FQRC, FSRC Pillars
