MAED 355 - Teaching Data Science and Modeling

Students will use data science and modeling techniques to seek solutions to a wide variety of questions that require collecting organizing, representing, and using different types of data. Students will learn how to use authentic tasks and real-world data in an active learning environment to analyze complex problems. Students will develop an understanding of how data science and modeling concepts are developed in high school mathematics.
