ENGL 372 - American Masculinities 3 credits This course investigates how scholars, writers, and filmmakers have depicted the idea of “masculinity” in America and what their depictions mean for contemporary men. It will explore historical, social, and psychological models for masculinity and use those models to interpret popular and literary texts.
