PSYC 340 - Health Psychology 3 credits This course is an introduction to health psychology theory and research. Students will integrate knowledge and skills from across the disciplines of psychology, medicine, public health, and sociology to examine conceptualizations of health, explore factors that influence health, and address important issues related to health, healthcare systems, stress, and illness. Students will learn how to use psychological science to promote physical, mental, and social well-being. PHBS
Prerequisite(s): PSYC 101 (with grade of “C-” or better) and completion of FHBS Corequisite(s): None
