CRIM 407 - Crime Control Strategies 3 credits Examines various crime and delinquency prevention policies and programs with a focus on evidence-based practices. Topics covered will include the historical development of crime and delinquency prevention methods, theoretical applications to prevention efforts, and research findings on program effectiveness. The importance of research design in evaluating prevention programs also will be considered.
Prerequisite(s): CRIM 100 with grade of C- or higher and Junior/Senior level standing or permission of the instructor. Corequisite(s): None
