HPEP 482 - Directed Teaching in Elementary and Secondary Physical Education and Health 10 credits Students are placed in elementary and secondary schools where they are responsible for the planning and delivery of instruction in the areas of health and physical education. This semester-long experience is evenly divided between placements at the elementary (K-6) and secondary (6-12) levels. The experience is supervised by a Longwood University supervisor who will work closely with school-based cooperating teachers. $300.00 fee.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of all other university requirements for a BS degree in Health and Physical Education, PK-12 Licensure concentration (except HPEP 483 ) and successful completion in all standardized testing required for teacher licensure. Corequisite(s): HPEP 483 .
